Looking for some advice on my purchase. Unless something else comes up in the next 2 days I will go ahead with one of the following 2 vehicles. Both vehicles are spec'ed similar (m sport package, DCT and premium package), no nav/idrive and both are AW/black. My plan is to use these cars as daily (12-15K/year). After 2-3 years I might buy a cheap daily and use the BMW more as weekend car.

2011 BMW 335is ($41000 tax&lic incl, 20K miles, early lease buy out)

2012 BMW 135i ($39700 tax&lic incl, 6K miles)

Do you think the prices I got are fair? For 2 years I was convinced going for the 135i but since a couple of weeks I have been thinking that the 335i might be a better option since it is a bit bigger. On the other hand the 335i will consume more based on what I read which on a yearly basis will be a significant amount. Other than that, I do not expect a big difference in operation costs. The 335is will be a lease buy-out, any idea how long this process will take?

I also wanted to avoid having the N54 engine. The 335is has an improved (?) version so does this mean the reliability issues have been solved?

Anything else I missed? I know this is a 1 series forum but some objective input would be appreciated.
