You will like the Cool carbons, if you dont use your car for lapping events. The time I used them on the street, I liked them, but destroyed them on the track. On the street, they make very little dust, no noise, have good bite, although a bit less bite and more linear than OE pads....
As for rotors, pay the least amount possible, and get blank rotors. I still run my stock blank rotors on my 2011 135i and I track the car., I even sanded then down to remove the rust from the hub, and gave it a couple of coats of high temp spray clear from a can.
