Just incase you guys have not seen this video before... it gives you an appreciation for hot demanding the "Green Hell" can be. This VHS video was produced in the mid 1980's ('88 - I think) when RUF's CTR "Yellow Bird" was the fastest car in the world as tested by Road & Track at VW's test track in Ehra-Lessien near Woflsburg. RUF's test driver's nickname is "sideways Stefan" and supposedly the car could only do four laps before one of the rear tires would blow!
Lets not forget this RUF yellow bird was teh first production car with: super low profile tires of 17's inches, 450 HP (& 2400lbs!!) and the first car with a production MT6! Boy how times have changed!
