Best thing to use is more tape. Yes i said tape. Packaging tape is best. Just stick the tape to the residue and rub with your fingers to heat it a bit then slowly peel off. once you have the heavy part off, dab at the residue with the packaging tape pulling striaght back (don't peel) in a quick motion. It takes a bit but works everytime. Always use a fresh area on the tape to get best removal of residue.
