Yes I agree: Don't take it untill you see it second time. It is highly likely that they will confuse you more or try to get advantage of the occasion by inventing something.

However, if it happens second time just take it there right away since this is quite weird what you described, was the car parked out all that week and was it considerably cold etc.?
