You can definitely swap M3 paddles for the OEM paddles on the N54 Steptronics. I did mine and then got the Alpina TCU flash. My car shifts almost as fast as the DCT now and the M3 paddles are much easier to use than the OEM paddles.

Sorry you DCT guys can't make a direct switch to the M3 paddles They are nice.
