135i rattling brake pads
I am a very happy 135i owner, but one thing annoys me the most....rattles. My car is fitted with the 6-piston brakes. The front brake pad rattle noise is at its max when going over small/short/sharp road bumps (cracked road surface). The rattle is so severe it seems that the braking system is falling apart. When the brakes are applied over such bumps, there is no noise at all. I had replaced the front pads with OEMs (at a significant cost ~600euros). The rattle stopped for about 500klm and then to my great disappointment reappeared. The BMW service mechanic tells me it's the devils nature, however i dont believe it. Does anyone else experience this?
