Unhappy Better Rotor Option?

The long life of my 135i performance rotors has come to an end. I have been wanting to get some floating, or 2 piece rotors for awhile but the options seem to be either extremely limed or expensive. As of right now I know of these options:

ECS Tuning: 2-Piece Brake Rotors - Pair (338x26) 499$

BR: Two-piece rotor (Open Slot) (350x28mm) 1215$

I also was reading on this forum (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=639905&page=6) that someone has take the 135i performance calipers and mounted them on the E46 MCP/Z4M OEM: 345 x 28, which are larger.

So I was wondering there has been a general consensus on a clear upgrade to the 338x26 front stock rotors?
