Unless the manual says you can bridge the anchors from each side, you cant. In every BMW ever made the only way you can safely put a child seat in the middle is using the seat belt, that is 100% fact.

You cannot use the seat belt installation either in the center of the 1-series coupe since the center area is technically not a seat.
