According to a Bentley manual, the capacities are as follows:
N51, N52, N54 engines:
- Manual transmission: 8.2L
- Automatic transmission: 8.4L
However, this is for the E9x 3-series. I am not sure if the 1 series will be the same. I assume some of the cooling system hoses or other cooling system components in the 1 series may be different from the 3 series which could ultimately change the total coolant capacity.
