I remember when BMW Canada released the BMW E90 3-series sedan, they had a special launch/test drive event in Toronto. They invited fellow owners and enthusiasts to attend this free event. Participants were allowed to compare the BMW to different cars as they drove them hard around a special mini-track.

When BMW released the BMW E90 3-series with X-drive, they had another special launch/test drive event in Downsview (Toronto). They invited me to attend this free event. I was allowed to compare the BMW to different cars as I drove them hard around a special mini-track. I thought this was a great event and the BMW was a much a better drive compared to the other cars on hand, including the Audi A4 and Lexus IS. I bought my E90 based on this experience.

Does anyone know if BMW Canada will organize a special launch/test drive event for the 1-series?
