Retrofitting I-Drive
Hey Everyone
We finally bought a 135i - got a deal, low KM, excellent cndition, but no I Drive. It wasn't a deal breaker though and saved thousands.
The 1 series's without I drive have a compartment in the middle, so it seems removal and replacement of the dash wouldn't be neccessary, but in addition to this, does anyone know the approx cost involved in retrofitting ideally the Professional Navigation I Drive to a 135i? If I'm correct, with the newer I Drive you can connect an ipod via USB directly, thus not using the Y Cable and keeping the signal chain all digital.
