Congrats and glad to had a good drive up the coast! sometimes the brake sensors rub and make a high pitched squeak sound. Yea, take it in right away. Sounds like the alignment might be off so have them check. You can also confirm if the steering wheel is in the correct position. Remove it...takes only 15 min to remove and put back on. Just use some elbow grease to remove the center bolt. There should be a small white line on the pinion gear for the wheel to line up, maybe it is off by a couple of notches. GL.
