Strax, a forum member who is a BMW race car driver have had an LSD in his 135i for months now. He says it is no problem with the e-diff. Essentially e-diff would only come into play when the mechanical LSD losses traction.

Prateek, I can assure you that you can drift the 135i with the e-diff. Just don't ask how I know lol. I am doing a track day on 20th, and will let you know how the e-diff behaves before I make any sort of decision. One thing is definitely attractive though, and that is the extra acceleration from the new final drive!
