Most practical solution if you want to keep both the Akra exhaust and Slek diffuser and want to have peace of mind: get the Akra CF tips (normally not available as separate parts, but you have the Akra exhaust so give it a a try -
"Sorry to say, but I damaged my tips during a reverse maneuver and need to replace these"): the inner ring layer of the CF tips gets hot (as normal exhaust tips do),
unlike the outer ring layer (the CF bit). No heat danger for the CF diffuser. Otherwise stated, heat isolation by the outer ring.
