I think these tools are all made in China. Regardless the different brands, itself should be the same. My saw comes with a half-circle blade, and other 2 "straight" blades as showed above.

I chose to use the straight blade for safety reasons. Anyway, the result is pretty good. the cutting line is clean, no melt of the dashboard at all..

I have the harbor freight model and have used it to sand and cut wood. It works well. I have no doubt it would make this cut just fine. I would have used a different blade for the straight cuts but the HF saw comes with both.

For those of you on the west coast you may get good mail order service from HF. I live on the east coast and I am much too impatient to wait for HF on a mail order. But there is a store near me so I just go there.
