i'll see if i can add to the confusion...i'm good at that around the house, so i'll try extending my reach to this forum.
on my VIR, received a couple days ago, it doesn't show cupholders at all. i ordered the premium package, but not the convenience package (and therefore no CA). option 442 doesn't even show up on my list of options; i'm assuming i'll still have two cupholders in the center console, but not the funny one hanging off into the passenger's nether-regions (which i assume was put there because the iDrive knob that comes with NAV took its place on the center piece).
or perhaps i'll fork over $95 for the optional official BMW camelbak.
