Saucerboy = Shane McConkey, a legend in the extreme skiing world. To a lot of people he was about as close to a real life superhero as has ever existed.

But the first half of the weekend was the best. I went skiing. Mid sixties, sunny skies and mashed potato snow on fat powder skis made for a great, but exhausting, day to end the season with. My legs are still sore today.
What made the first half of the weekend horrible?
