But to answer your question anyway, it takes about 4 to 6 minutes for the OBC in a 128i to give an oil level reading - at which point, most of us consider the motor to be properly warmed up.

haha, sorry for posting wrong forum, at least I got a idea that the car warms up at the time oil reading could be read.
