Just got the car a month ago, 2009 135i black on black M sport (22,000 miles) with 4 months left on warranty. While detailing it - noticed some slight bubbles in the dash so I took it to the dealership (amoungst a couple of other issues - squeaky armrest and engine noise).
Dealership stated they will cover the new dashboard - they had to ship a new part from Germany. Dealership stated they will cover the part/replacement only once.
By the way - Tom Williams BMW in Birmingham Alabama has great service!! Gave me a 2011 335is convertible for a loaner. Have had it almost 2 weeks - as they let me have the loaner while the dash was in route from Germany.
They also have gloss black grille's for $65 and gave a deal on installation - my first Mod!!!
Can't wait to get it back...
