^ This is what I wonder.
Unlike extended warranty, which is basically just a gamble between the purchaser and BMW, and
may be worth it if your car requires expensive warranty work, extended maintenance seems like it must have a predictable value. After all, if they're only going to cover "scheduled" maintenance for a certain # of miles, that should work out to a precise # of oil changes, brake jobs, etc. And it seems like if that's the case, BMW would certainly do the math in their favor, right? Am I missing something?
