Thanks for the reply, but I am actually trying to find out how to disassemble the actual mirror housing. I do know how to get the mirror off the windshield, but I would like to then take apart the plastic mirror shell. Has anyone done this? I assume it's just a couple of plastic clips, but where are the clips and how many are there? It's an expensive part and I don't want to break it. Thanks!
