No, that is the $10,000 question (literally). They said the turbos had a defect. One turbo, sure, I can see that. But two turbos? On the same car? That is why I posted the case number. Would be great if one of the BMW people who frequent these boards could look it up and give us more info. (hint!)

True. And when I first heard it I hoped it was just the injectors. But when you get RPM loss and reduced power you know something else is wrong.

On a car with synth oil since it rolled off the line? I did not see any misfires and a ticking lifter would not explain RPM loss.
