^^^I take it you did not read the entire thread. The answer was concerned with the R&D involved creating scoops that fit the 1er exactly versus what other tuners have done and "modified" existing 3er scoops to fit 1er's. R&D costs were higher, therefore a higher price. Name of the game here....
