DIY: Painting the Brake Calipers

This is a little tutorial on painting the brake calipers blue. First things first you need to take off all of the wheels, then you are going to need a scrubber and some all purpose cleaner to clean the brake calipers. You are going to want to let the calipers dry for a while.

Next you are going to want to buy some VHT caliper paint that you can get at your local auto zone.

Sorry I don't have any pics of this but you will want to take off the clips on the calipers and paint them separately with the same type of paint.

Before painting you are going to want to wipe down the calipers first

After all the cleaning for the calipers, you are going to need to tape off everything surrounding the calipers so that you cant see anything but the calipers.

Once everything is taped off you can start with the first coat, then let it sit for about 10-15 mins. you will want to repeat this 2 more times to have a total of 3 coats and if you would like you can do 4 coats.

This looks really good with black wheels. my last picture just didn't come out as good.

Sorry if this is not that organized, it is my first post
