In a month I will be in Melbourne, so if my wife lets me, I might have a crack at Calder Park or Heathcote to see what they are like and see how the car does on a different strip. I really would like to see how quick/fast it can do before I put meth/LSD/coilovers on. Might see if some Melbourne members are up for it.
At the end of the day its just a bit of fun for me. What I like about it is turning up in a somewhat ugly car (from some angles its damn fugly) and most people there instantaneously thinking little of it, taking a dislike to it and by extension, me. Then running faster/quicker than them.
Our cars are certainly conversation starters at these events, always have a long chat with someone about what it has going for it.
Should really organise a private day. Considering we have been able to get 6 black 135i's at the same Wednesday night we should be able to organise a Euro day, or BMW + VAG etc. I am up to help organise if others are keen.
