I found the tracking sites to be only marginally accurate when tracking my 1'er. Mine actually showed a status (including on the phone) of waiting at port until the ship it was actually loaded on was almost in port. Then my car went to "en route" for 1 day and then basically went VPC the next day.
Still, it's fun to watch and hope as you keep a track of your car making its way slowly across the pond. Just don't take any of the information as gospel until the car actually hits Stateside in my opinion  |
I think you're definitely right. At the end of the day what matters is the car will be in NY on 2/29. Knowing the ship is somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic doesn't really do anyone any good. But we're all REALLY impatient
