High pitched whine
Hi
The wife\'s 118d is making a fairly audible whine when the ignition is switched on and is always there. It doesn\'t change with engine speed but as you go quicke becomes les apparent only due to road/radio noise.
I\'ve read some posts regarding the diff but it doesn\'t sound mechanical to me. It\'s more of an annoying noise like electrical feedback. Does anyone else notice this in their car? My e92 doesn\'t do it and never heard it in any others.
