Big torque and big revs? Looks promising so long as it really has lost weight.

For me another big win for the 1M, which is a function of it's speedy development and off the shelf parts, was it's price. I avoided the big packages and my 1M stickered at $49k. The low price and high performance of the 1M made it impossible for me to pass up.

I shudder to think where the M4 is going to sticker given the 4 series premium over the 3 series, and the fact that 'stripped' is no where near being in line w/ the M4's character of a luxury sports coupe. I suppose you could look to the lower end of new 911 prices to find the top end of M4 prices. And if they overlap - and if I wanted to dump that much cabbage on a depreciating toy,... then I'd look to Stuttgart not Munich for my next ride.
