As reported in the recent M6 thread:
also the side intakes of the M6 get a mesh grille (ditto for the M5 and M135i).
Wondering whether it would be an improvement, design wise, if the 1M side air intakes would feature exactly the same mesh grille as the one sporting the central air intake. Apart from aesthetics, there's a functional rationale too: impeding objects from entering the intakes (pebbles, leaves, insects, trash, etc.).
Photohop rendering, anyone ?
If interest grows, aftermarket folks could be willing to develop these for the 1M, I assume.
