I might be mistaken but I think that 275 square (the setup I run) tends to make the car more neutral by reducing understeer and improving turn-in. This is in conjunction with camber plates. It's easier to rotate the car but issues of putting down power in the rear (read: oversteer) are still present. (I think the only way to fix THAT problem is to stuff as much rubber in the rear as possible ... IIRC some of gotten as big as a 315 in the back??) However I have found that being able to rotate the tires on all 4 corners based on wear patterns greatly increases overall tire longevity.
