235 and 265 might rub depending on the brand but it will be hard to tell in advance unless someone tried.
I've always run 225 front. I tried rear 265 Toyo R888 and they where rubbing even with -2.5° camber (had to pull by say 2mm on the fenders). The 265 Michelin Cup do not rub even with -1.5° camber. I am running the APEX ARC-8 9.5x18ET62 with a 3mm spacer.
Note that some tyres will work even better when "tight" on a rim (I'm not sure it translates, sorry
), like all Michelin tyres for instance. So in that case 225/255 looks like a very good choice (if available!).
