Although early, your best bet is to meet up at the Tysons meet point. It is directly down the Dulles toll road which is right next to the hotel. Meetup time is 5:30 AM and departure time from Tysons is 6 AM.

The end of the directions suggest a u-turn. You should simply be able to turn left into the Galleria at a light along International drive to avoid this u-turn. I should also note that the Dulles access road is a toll road so you will want to have a few dollars with you.
