Regarding the sound changes, I would say that with the N55 it is a little louder on startup and throughout the RPM range when on light throttle. there is more change when on heavy throttle... don't remember difference when lifting. Overall it IS louder, but not a LOT-- no
Major changes.
.......... I guess the best test is that the wife had commented on the less drone, and has NOT commented on it being louder [..but I am NOT doing heavy throttle with her in the car]
