The GT Spirit model is manufactured from Resin and is a sealed model , nothing opens so its purpose is to sit on a desk etc and be admired.
The MINICHAMPS version will have opening features for closer inspection.
It depends on where your loyalties lie but Resin is now becoming the more affirmed choice due to ease of development , manufacturing and in this day cost against diecast.
That is why we are seeing models like the BMW M235i Coupe and BMW M3 Sedan come as Resin only.
