here is another item you may require in the future to resolve a misfire issue, that being ignition coils.

A few pics of the genuine Bosch coil, side by side with a Bosch spark plug.

Obviously if you are changing spark plugs you would do all six.

However pending the service life, ignition coils can be swapped out individually based on misfire codes.

- Bosch 0 221 504 470 ignition coil $59.99

- Bosch ZGR 6 STEZ spark plug x 6 $83.99

Is there any difference between the Bosch coil pack and the BMW OEM coil pack? Is there a BMW logo etc?

If the part numbers are the same shouldn't the part number be 12137594937? This is the part number I come up with on real oem.
