I have a 2001 330ci (stock) and I believe it was rated at 6.2 seconds 0 to 60 by BMW when it was new. I have never personally measured mine, but I know that BMW is usually very conservative in their estimates, so I would expect that a lighter 128 coupe with 5 more hp would be able to hit a very low 6 second time, perhaps even a high 5 second time under the right conditions. I do know that it is hard to get a quick launch with stock tires from a dead stop. I have surprised more than a few cars at stoplights. I pick up my 135 coupe tomorrow (they called me after work tonight that it came in). Hooray!!! This will probably be my last fast car; my next car will probably be a 128 for the gas mileage. By the way, what kind of mileage do you guys get with the manual tansmissions?
