Nope, I have the 325i and I've noticed both issues with mine. Not only with soft stops, but after I stop I feel the car do what people are describing as lurch. But, what I think is really happening is that after I stop it take just a second for the transmission to kick into the lowest gear and you can feel it when it does. It is more apparent during the soft stops. I also feel the hesitation others have mentioned. It feels just like my Passat did, but the Passat had a turbo that kicks in at 1800 RPM and you feel it because of the turbo lag. I have no idea why the BMW has this hesitation. I was going to ask the dealer about this when I get a chance. Any of you who have experienced this find a fix?
