Had the update, got my car back yesterday. If you are driving an auto with the lurching/hesitation issues, go and get the update.
Mine is now a different car completely. Smooth, quick shifts, no judder - seems a little quicker too.
Would have been nice to have been paid by BMW for testing their new model for them over the last months though........
Regardless, I am now a very happy customer.
