Also it's a sure bet that BMW's ActiveE has low (rolling) resistant tires. The so called: "energy" or "Eco" tires. These eco tires can really extend a car's MPG (fuel consumption) by reducing tire drag. For an electric car I think trick tires are in order. I would not be surprised if the alloy wheels are of some exotic ($$$ and light) alloy.

From what I have heard of eco tires, they have terrible dynamic handling capabilities, low limits and generally poor grip. Very curious to see how BMW will addresss this in EV vehicles. I would think BMW of any car maker would find a good balance, especially if marketed as a performance car.
