Yep, you read that right Berk Technology, APEX Wheels, Velocity Motorcars, and Hankook Tire have successfully fit a 265/35/18 tire up front and a 285/35/18 tire out back on our Time Attack 135i! It not only looks bad ass, but provides some serious grip!
APEX ARC-8 Wheels: 18x9"+42 front, 18x9.5"+62 rear
Hankook Ventus RS-3 Tires: 265/35/18 front, 285/35/18 rear
Velocity Motorcars Wheel Spacers: 10mm front, 5mm rear.
Rolled Fenders: Yes. And modified front fender tab.
Negative Camber: KW Variant 3 coilovers w/Vorshlag camber plates + Velocity Motorcars rear camber/toe arms.
Now this setup is not for everyone as you must run a lot of negative camber (-2.5 degrees or more) to get by without rubbing, however this is an excellent setup for the track warrior!
This setup was track tested by Berk Technology this past weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and we had zero rubbing or clearance issues! Photos of the setup...
