Oh boy.
I hope that others don't view 128i drivers as being financially unable to "pony up" money for a 135i because that was the sense I got in some of these posts. That would be like saying Warren Buffett is poor because he drives his dad's really old car from the 1960s.
Everyone values cars differently and to say that one person is unable to "pony up" additional money for a 135i just because they drive a 128i seems ridiculous to me.
..but I guess it's all about image nowadays right..?
