[Taymaishu]

So the Mrs. headed off to her place about 1am.

Went down to the carpark to see her off (chivalry dead my ass) and came back with all the power gone. The fuse box wasn't tripped, so reset it anyway. Suddenly the alarm arms! I go over and type in my code. "Code Error". did it again very slowly. "Code Error".

BAMN, strobe light goes off and the whole apartment is like a disco for the very hearing impaired. 30 seconds later the piercing sound makes me sick and i jump outside to call strata. 24 hours? No way. False advertising there, nobody picks up and the call diversion goes to voicemail.

I call Bosch who run my security system and their 24 hour service goes to an office voicemail. Left message.

After 30 minutes of this god forsaken noise it stops, with the alarm still flashing and the head unit beeping at me whenever i move.

So, looks like tomorrow i'll be upgrading to a back-to-base system so i can at least have the thing turned off when i need it.
