Presumably, this means that if you fail your inspection because of readiness issues, then BMW would be able to detect the aftermarket tune. Am I reading this correctly?

I think they mean that if you go into the "test menu' with the GT1 scan tool... to test the "Fuel Tank Ventilation", you can then quickly see wether the DME has been modifed or not via the "
XXX" (instead of "yes" or "no") Readiness.
On a side note... I can not seem to open that pdf.
I keep getting an "damage error" with Adobe when I try opening it!
