Why get a new 135? I have another year before my lease runs up and I'm planning on getting my dealer to CPO it back to me. The payments will be less than any new lease and for the life of me I cannot figure out a single improvement (other than the nav post-2009).
I usually lease cars every 3-4 years, but after buying off lease my wife's Volvo V50 (which has performed flawlessly since purchase), I am now more open to the merits of driving a car much longer.
My current 'plan' is to drive my 135 as a daily up to 75K miles, get a M3 as a daily driver and use the 135 as a toy.
I think the N54 1 Series will be a collectable (as much as a recent model vehicle can be). I think the modability and simplicity of the car will be valued.
