I've been using my water blade for almost 10 years now....it's nice and soft from all the use. I would swear by it that it never made a scratch in my clear.......until recently. I'm not completely sure that some marks came from it or not but I think they may have. Now that I have Jet Black I can see everything. I'm going to keep a close eye on it from now on. It would be a shame because it's such a great tool to use when drying your car. I used it for 3 years on my burgundy Porsche and never saw a scratch.

If you have a light color you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
