Normal. These are asymmetric tires, and all asymmetric tires all do that. If they were directional the slashes would go the same direction. If you want to be sure they are mounted right take a look on the sidewall and you should find the word "outside" facing out.

Fair question. The one that says "265/35 ZR19 98Y XL with rim protection ridge,
M0, UHP" is a Mercedes OEM fitment, meaning it's tuned for whatever mercedes that comes on stock. That's not the one you want...
