I still think bimmer lovers still have not mentally accepted BMW's new coupe designed concept. Similar to C-class and CLK-class; E92 is the not same class as E90, of course they should look different!
For 'outside' people who are not familiar with bimmer details, the one looks 'dated' is the E92 e.g. its tail lamp looks like the E46 's reversed, ot it looks like the old W210 E-Class's. Having said that, I am impressed with E92 style and will confirm my view only when I can see the real thing. After all, the commericial photos were always shot with an angle that makes the car look longer and bigger. It is a bit early to say E92 look like the big brother 6-series.
