Both the brakes and spark plugs are easy DIY. I would not bother with the dealer.

BTW, the squeaking in the brakes is due to a high frequency vibration caused when the brakes are not fully applied and not the pad against rotor.

TO solve this you need to apply the anti-squeak compound that is commonly sold. So then, since you are going to replace the pads anyway make sure you apply the compound. And also make sure you apply the compound about 8 hours prior to the installation. This allows the compound to dry fully. I always do it the night before.
