I know your pain. My son lost his marbles (literally) in the back seat one day and two of them found their way into the ducts under the driver's seat. Drove me nuts, until I got them out using the method I outlined previously. I found some coarse plastic mesh and zip tied it onto the vents - hasn't happened again.
